As urban producers, we are always looking for ways to get our drums to knock and cut through the mix. The methods for this vary but today I want to look at achieving this with parallel compression.
Parallel compression can be a bit difficult to understand at first and it does take a bit of work to set up but today I have something that makes this process a lot easier.
