3 Tips to Get Better at Making Beats
Over the month of April I set out a challenge for myself to create and put out a beat every day for that month and I called it the #StuckAtHomeBeatChallenge since we're all undergoing a national pandemic.
The initial idea behind this challenge stemmed from the realization that I wasn't spending as much time as I would have liked creating beats for myself so this was my solution to get back into the mix.
This challenge was tough and fun but most importantly it was eye-opening so today I want to recap everything that I learned from doing this challenge, share my 3 main takeaways, and break down how they've helped me get better at making beats, make me an overall better music producer and ultimately how they can help you do the same.
